As introduced by Professor Dejong, the Education Committee have been working on developing the structure of the E-AHPBA Education Programme and are delighted to introduce the E-AHPBA Education Pyramid, for more information or to apply to host an E-AHPBA led course please visit the Educational Activities page on this website.
This pyramid structure categories courses and meetings that are available to all members and in turn allows E-AHPBA to take ownership of the educational and technical courses partnering with local organising committees. This structure will help to ensure the quality and content is delivered to the highest standard throughout the region. In addition, a Governance policy has been created to ensure fairness and equality throughout.
E-AHPBA Platinum
Expert Courses:
Organised and delivered by the E-AHPBA in partnership with a local organising committee. Members interested in hosting a course should apply to the E-AHPBA President by clicking on application link available on the website.
E-AHPBA Gold Educational
and Technical Courses:
Organised and delivered by the E-AHPBA in partnership with the local organising committee. Members interested in hosting a course should apply to the E-AHPBA President by clicking on application link available on the website.
E-AHPBA National
Chapter Courses:
Organised and delivered by an official E-AHPBA National Chapter, preferably in conjunction with the Chapters annual meeting. Chapters organising a course that wish to be endorsed by E-AHPBA should apply to the E-AHPBA President by clicking on application link available on the website.
E-AHPBA Blue
Supported Courses:
Organised and delivered by an E-AHPBA member. Members organising a course that wish to be endorsed by E-AHPBA should apply to the E-AHPBA Secretary General by clicking on application link available on the website.

- E-AHPBA Introductory Course to HPB Robotic Surgery, 26th and 27th November 2018, Orsi Academy, Ghent, Belgium
- E-AHPBA Post Graduate Course Pancreas, 25th and 26th January 2019, Royal Olympic Hotel, Athens, Greece
