Through funding research, providing educational programmes, fostering mentorship, and promoting networking and collaboration, the E-AHPBA Foundation aims to improve patient outcomes, encourage innovation, and support the professional development of surgeons and healthcare providers specialising in HPB surgery.

Inspired by the IHPBA Foundation’s global impact, the E-AHPBA Foundation aims to build on this legacy by fostering research, education, and collaboration within the region, addressing the unique challenges and opportunities faced by HPB professionals in Europe and Africa.
